The PNOC Alternative Fuels Corporation (PNOC-AFC) pursues the development, operation and management of the PNOC-AFC Industrial Park, an industrial estate with an area of more than 530 hectares located in the Province of Bataan.

The Park organizes the Quarterly Coastal Clean-Up Activity for its Community Environment Program to serve its community and stakeholders.

For the first quarter of this year, the Park successfully concluded the Coastal Clean-Up Activity last March 19, 2010. A total of 234 volunteers trooped to the Park's coastal area. The whole day affair brought together 17 officers and staff from the Company, 24 security personnel from GMT Interlink, 23 employees of Servicio Filipino, 85 civilian volunteers from Barangay Batangas Dos (LGU), and 15 police officers from PNP Mariveles.

The Park's locators, likewise, sent their representatives with 41 individuals from the Philippine Resins Industries, 13 from NPC Alliance, and 16 from Orica.

39 cubic meters of garbage was collected from the 300-meter stretch of the Park's coastal area.

The activity was indeed a worthwhile event that brought about voluntarism for the environment and camaraderie for the community.
