PNOC-Petrochemical Development Corporation (PPDC) was established in 1993 to develop the country's first integrated petrochemical industry
The development of a resettlement site in a 12.32 hectares property owned by the Philippine National Corporation (PNOC) and located in Brgy. Batangas Dos, Mariveles, Bataan was envisioned by the PNOC-Petrochemical Development Corporation (PPDC/PNOC-PDC) to accommodate 437 informal families affected by the development of the Petrochemical Industrial estate on the PNOC’s 530-hectares property located in the Municipalities of Limay and Mariveles, Bataan.
PPDC started construction of the feedstock pier in the 530 hectare petrochemical complex in Limay and Mariveles, Bataan.
Signed a locator agreement with Phoenix Polypropylene Corporation on March 24.
Signed a locator agreement with NPC Alliance Corporation on January 29 and Philippine Resins Industries Inc (PRII) on May 31.
PPDC's Petrochem Park was inaugurated.
